There’s something incredibly powerful about photographing real moments. Not the Pinterest-perfect poses or the matchy-matchy outfits (though I’m not mad at a well-coordinated look). What I love most is catching the in-between.

It’s the laughter that bubbles up when a toddler makes a silly face. The way a parent instinctively reaches for their child’s hand. The chaos, the calm, and everything in between. That’s where the heart of family photography lives.

I never want a session to feel like a performance. I want it to feel like time well spent with the people you love most, just with me quietly capturing it in the background. My job is to gently guide you, help you feel relaxed, and give you space to be yourselves. That’s when the magic happens.

So if your kids are a little wild, your toddler insists on bringing their favorite stuffed animal, or your teenager is “too cool” to smile, good. That’s your family. That’s your story. And it’s worth remembering exactly as it is.
